Hydrogen Powered Cars and Conserving Precious Commodities!

When we think of Conservation, we can consider the value of Hydrogen Powered Cars, for using less of the High Demand commodities we need so much. But we use SO MUCH of the Earth's resources that we have high prices caused by high demand. It is not just US in the West - or Western Culture. This is largely the NEW demand caused by places like China that are now allowed to use more. In the US, we have a situation that has caused us to actually import REFINED Gasoline (Petrol) because we have not built a Refinery here in about 30 years. What is the answer?

The mandated use of Ethanol was intended to reduce our dependency on Oil, but has not achieved this. When you consider that about 80% as much petroleum fuel is used to produce and deliver Ethanol as it is supposed to save, and that it is not as efficient, we have a more costly alternative that has been made from our FOOD. A significant amount of agricultural resources have been diverted, and, now, food prices have gone up. This hurts everyone. A hungry world population used to depend on US as the "Bread Basket of the World!" Soon, we may find it difficult to just feed ourselves.

What happens when we need to reduce the use of fuel? You could consider the alternative of the most abundant thing on Earth. You know that WATER is Hydrogen and Oxygen in compressed form, readily available, and safe to store. It is said that Conservation is what we all need, and we can talk about reducing our demand for Gasoline (Petrol.) We will try to make this a plain as we can. We can just drive less, or we can use something to supplement the fuel we use. Sometimes, we can use our heads, and not make an extra trip. What we are talking about here is a way to go as far or further using LESS fuel. It is important to NOT be dependent on your sworn enemies for precious resources, but too many people cannot see the importance of that. They never were required to do without, and never were required to exercise that type of restraint.

An interesting development in recent days and months is that this LIKELY CONTRIVED shortage of oil is reversing. One suggested that the OPEC suppliers had tankers full of oil traveling the seas to keep from delivering the oil, and thus artificially supporting outrageous prices. He went as far as to say they may just be dumping it in the sea to prop-up the false notion of a shortage. We paid over $4 per gallon this summer, and now we see it below $2 in places.

Update:
Don't you know the prices of fuel is rising again!? It seems we are paying more than just a little while ago. I am glad to say it is not as bad as the Summer of 2008, but how long will it be before it IS?

Does that mean there is no use for Hydrogen Powered technology? NO, it doesn't. This lull in price increases could be over as fast as it came. Look at this reprieve as an opportunity to get ready for the next time the supply and prices are manipulated in such a way.

Someone recently said that the most expensive commodity of all is IGNORANCE, and it costs us terribly every day. If only we knew how to avoid trouble. If only we knew how to supply the needs we face. How can we convince ignorant people of dangers that might destroy us if we pass ignorantly by? ARM YOURSELF with knowledge of how to become more independent, and not be as sheep led to the slaughter! It is past time we all wake up, and try to avoid the destruction of the lives we now live in relative peace.
